Microdermabrasion can help you achieve the vibrant, flawless skin you’ve been looking for. Dermabrasion is a procedure that basically “refinishes” the skin and is useful for removing light blemishes on all types of skin.

Microdermabrasion is a lighter type of dermabrasion. The procedure requires some local anesthesia to numb the area that is being treated. The duration of the procedure can last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the size of the area. A rough wire or brush attached to a motorized handle is used to scrape away the top layer of skin. After the procedure, there is some redness and skin sensitivity, which heals relatively quickly.

This was my third visit out of a four visit package I paid for to try and get some of my facial hair removed by Laser. After just the first session I saw a huge difference in the amount of growth and it just has gotten less and less after each session. Sue, the nurse, has made me feel so comfortable and she truly wants to help me get this under control. I created the problem on the side of my face where your hair naturally dips down a little in front of the ear. A few years ago when I was battling with OCD, I was pulling out the hairs in that area and then what grew in was stiff stubble. Now after my third treatment almost all the stubble is gone! I’m so happy with the results that I may decide to have my legs done.
